Congratulations to 1st year student Mikey Mahon whos animated film was screened at the REC Film Festival in Berlin last week. He got 1st honourable mention in his category.
This film also won 2nd place at this year’s Ireland’s Junior Young Film Maker of the year awards at the Fresh Film Festival. Animation is a huge interest for Mikey and he won 3rd place for another film at Fresh Film last year and Best Animation at Wicked Wales Film Festival.
